Consular services

Whilst the premises of the newly established Embassy are being fitted out, consular services for Luxembourg nationals will continue to be provided by the Embassy of Luxembourg in Bangkok. Full consular services will be made available in Singapore once the new Embassy is fully operational. These developments are expected to take place over the course of the coming year.

Holders of a Singaporean passport may travel to Luxembourg without a visa for a short stay for tourism, business or study purposes for a maximum of 90 days within a 180-day period. This rule allows for multiple entries, but the total length of stay may not exceed 90 days within a 180-day period.

Third-country nationals residing in Singapore who are subject to visa requirements to enter the Schengen area must apply for a short-stay visa at the Belgian Embassy in Singapore before entering the country.

For stays of more than 90 days in Luxembourg (as an employee, student or for family reunification or other reasons), third-country nationals must apply for a long-stay visa (D visa) at the Belgian Embassy in Singapore before entering the country.
